Carefully Careless Materiality

Carefully Careless Materiality consisted of taking inventory of existing work by LA school architect, Frank Gehry, in order to understand its material agenda and consider where its use of materiality and form can be manipulated to inform new material constructs.

Using the Gehry House as precedent, materiality was reconfigured in order to produce a newfound form. This transformation was primarily achieved through elevational conditions.
