House guest

Through this project we were asked to consider specific relationships between the body and the contours of design. Additionally, conventions pertaining to privacy, apertures, fixtures, and equipment were investigated and re-imagined through the lens of the functions/rituals of two residentes Furthermore, I took into consideration the inputs and outputs required by the House Guest(s), such as electrical, plumbing and ventilation.

The driving force behind the design is rooted in the “screen” as a movable object that maintains elements of dynamism and transparency. The screen is not to be taken as a literal screen, rather it is understood as a movable component thats positioning relates to a certain functionality/activity.
